Bugs B Gone safely cleans tough road bugs, grime, tree sap and other organic residues from car and truck surfaces, RVs, motorcycles, boats and more! Bugs B Gone is a surfactant, which means it loosens and removes stubborn organic crud (like sticky bugs) by breaking its bond from a surface or material. Safe on all surfaces, Bugs B Gone contains no harsh chemicals and does not leave a film or haze.

Spray it on bugs, grime, food, or other sticky, organic crud to loosen. Then just wipe with a wet cloth or wash away with water!

Thanks for the question, Bob. Bugs B Gone is safe to use on your boat. It won’t harm the ceramic coating on your gelcoat.

We camp under big white pine trees that drip a lot of globs of sap. Sometimes we don’t catch it till we get home after the weekend. Really think it would clean this sooner than later? If you rub it, it will smear.

Thanks for the question, Joe. Bugs B Gone will work on tree sap. Might be worth a shot. Just follow the instructions on the bottle (make sure you’re applying it in a cool area – not in hot, direct sun – let it soak for a few minutes, and wash away with water).

1). Yes, you can use Bugs B Gone on vinyl and canvas.

2). It will remove mold, but it won’t “disinfect” the mold.

Good question, Scott.

Yes, you can add the concentrated version of Bugs B Gone (sold in a gallon) during the warmer months when the temperature is above 32 degrees F/0 degrees C. Add 2 oz of Bugs B Gone per gallon of windshield washer fluid.
