Adding Sea Foam to oil in my 2016 Ford F150 with VVT [SOLVED]
1 Answers
I recently bought 2016 F150 XL 5.0L (with VVT) with 122,000 miles and I’ve been told not to add anything to that engine. I want to “clean” the camshaft position sensors. Will Sea Foam help and will it be safe for that engine? I’ve used Sea Foam in the past but they were on old tractors, lawnmowers and “non computerized” vehicles and it works great. Just don’t want to hurt any of my sensors.

That’s a smart question Bill. You should have no concern when using Sea Foam in your F150’s crankcase. Add half a can each interval to keep things clean. No worries!
