Can I add regular Sea Foam to my transmission fluid? [SOLVED]

Prior to changing my transmission oil and filter, can I add regular Sea Foam to my transmission fluid and drive it for 100 miles to clean it? My pan holds 7 quarts.

Good question, Charlie. Use Sea Foam Trans Tune for that – it’s made for transmission fluid systems and cleans fluid varnish, just like Sea Foam. You can find it at any auto parts store. Just follow the directions on the can (add the whole can to your transmission fluid reservoir and drive for 100 miles, just like you said).
