So is it ok to put Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the oil with a oil change and run it 3000 miles?

Thanks for the question, John. Sea Foam in oil works to reliquefy residues and deposits so they can be drained away when you change your oil.
You can add the Sea Foam at any time, so that would work. It’s safe to run in there for 3,000 miles.
That said, we recommend adding it 100-300 miles before you change your oil. That way, it has time to circulate and clean, and then you can drain away all the reliquefied residues with the old oil.
Hope that helps!
