Can I use Sea Foam High Mileage on a diesel engine? [SOLVED]
3 Answers
I have a 2000 Ford 7.3 diesel with 240,000 miles. I don’t see where the new High Mileage product includes diesels. Is the High Mileage not compatible with diesel fuel? If not, how about using in the crankcase? I’m experiencing some injector stiction and with the Huei injector system. Should I use the regular or High Mileage?

Hi Tim. High Mileage is formulated for gasoline fuel systems. Even so, you can use it in your Ford’s oil crankcase. It seems you know what you’re doing so go ahead and give it a try! I think a 7.3 is 12 quarts so add a whole can every interval until the stiction problem goes away. At that point you can decide which formulation you like best in your crankcase. Both are great options!
