Hi Dune,
Thanks for the question. Yes, you can use Sea Foam in your lawn mower gasoline. It’ll do three things:
- Clean fuel residue and varnish from the entire fuel system (anywhere fuel goes)
- Lubricate critical engine areas
- Prevent fuel from degrading and any gum and varnish from forming
If you haven’t used it before, here’s what I’d do to give your lawn mower’s fuel system a good cleaning:
- Add a 16oz can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment to half a gallon of fuel
- Run it on the high concentration until it’s empty. That will do a good job cleaning up any fuel residues/varnish.
After that, add at least one ounce of Sea Foam per gallon to every tank of fuel. That will prevent the fuel from degrading, as well as prevent fuel residues form forming while the mower sits between uses.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
