How long can I leave Sea Foam in oil of lawn tractor? [SOLVED]
1 Answers
I added Sea Foam Motor Treatment to the motor oil in my Craftsman lawn tractor and was wondering how many hours of run time can I go before I change the oil? Can I get away with running it and changing the oil next season like I normally do, or should I change it sooner? I average 40 to 50 hours of run time a year. The Motor in the lawn tractor is a 19.5hp Briggs and Stratton twin cylinder.

Thanks for the question, Grayson. You can definitely leave it in the oil for that amount of time. It’s safe to leave Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the oil for the duration of the oil’s life. It’ll help clean residues and deposits as well as keep them from forming. Just check on the oil as you normally would. If it gets really dirty, go ahead and change it.
