If you’re asking about oil, add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil.
Here’s what I’d recommend for adding it to fuel:
- If the engine isn’t running well, use a strong cleaning ratio (up to a 1:2 ratio of Sea Foam to gas). Run it until empty (using it as normal). That will do a good job cleaning up any gum or varnish in the fuel system that might be causing problems.
- If you’re using it for regular preventative maintenance, use 2 oz of Sea Foam per gallon in every tank. That will prevent gum and varnish from forming and the gas from degrading while it’s not being used.
