Sea Foam in Harley Road King gas, oil, and clutch [SOLVED]
Can I use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in my 2013 Harley Davidson Road King gas tank, crank case and clutch system?
Great question, Brian. The answer is yes to all three – Sea Foam Motor Treatment is safe and effective in the gas and oil of your Road King. It’s safe and effective in wet clutch systems as well.
Add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil.
Here’s what I like to do in the gas tank: wait until you’re at about half a tank (3 gallons) or less. Add a full can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment (or better yet, High Mileage – it’s a great cleaning formula!). Then, ride until almost empty before refueling. The high concentration will do a great job cleaning.
If your motorcycle is going to sit for a while, add 1 oz of Sea Foam per gallon of gas.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any more questions, happy to help!
