Sea Foam Spray and MAP sensors – 2016 VW GTI [SOLVED]

Thanks for the question, Rich. When using Sea Foam Spray there is no concern with a MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure). However, never apply upstream (air flow) toward a MAF sensor (mass air flow), which in most gas engines is far upstream of the throttle body. So, no worries at all in your case. When applying Sea Foam Spray you want to place the nozzle in front of the throttle plate opening. Whether there’s a turbocharger is not a factor. Hope this helps!
