Should I add High Mileage to a low tank on a vehicle with more than 200,000 miles? [SOLVED]
When using the high mileage Sea Foam is it okay if I put it in my tank when I only have like a little bit of gas and then add 25 or $30 worth of the premium gas? Would that make it better for it being that it’s got over 200,000 miles?
Thanks for the question, Richard! Thinking about the best way to use High Mileage to get the most cleaning power out of it, here’s what I would do:
Wait until the tank is low (1/4 -1/8 tank), like you described. Then, add the whole 16 oz can, and drive for at least 10-20 miles before refueling. The high concentration works very well to clean fuel residues and deposits. As far as fuel goes, use whatever you’d use normally. Add it to fuel like this every 3,000 miles or once a year.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions!
