The best way to clean out oil residue in your engine [SOLVED]
1 Answers
I just inherited a 1987 El Camino with the 305 cubic inch V-8. When looking into the oil filter hole I can see and feel grimy, gritty oil residue. Will Sea Foam clean all of that old oil grime? If so, please recommend how I should use Sea Foam.

Hi Barry. Yes, adding Sea Foam every oil interval will work to liquefy all of that heavy old oil residue so it can drain away when you change your oil. We recommend adding to the crankcase 100 to 300 miles before each oil & filter change. For your El Camino, just open the filler cap and eyeball half a can each treatment. It’s that easy!
