Thanks for the question, Kenny! Use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the fuel. Here’s what I’d do:
First, if the fuel is old, go ahead and drain it. Then, add 8 oz of fresh fuel and 4 oz of Sea Foam to the tank. Crank/rope pull/prime the engine to draw the mixture into the tank, and let it sit overnight before starting. Run it until empty before filling up with fresh fuel. That will do a great job cleaning up the carb.
