I believe my oil sending unit filter is clogged. Will Sea Foam clean it?

Hi Paul. Can generally say that adding Sea Foam to help clean an oil sending unit is definitely worth a try! Add 1.5 ounces of Sea Foam per quart of oil in the crankcase. If your car is older with higher miles I’d try Sea Foam High Mileage, which is a bit tougher on stubborn oil residues. Note that a Sea Foam crankcase treatment requires at least 100 drive miles to circulate and clean. Please keep in mind that we don’t know the specific cause of your engine oil issue.
