Will Sea Foam in oil plug the oil pick up screen? [SOLVED]
1 Answers
I have a ’68 Corvair with 84,000 miles. I added 4 ounces of Sea Foam to the engine oil to help with sticky lifters. Do I need to be concerned with sludge breaking loose and plugging the oil pick up screen?

Good question, Mark. Sea Foam reliquefies heavier oil deposits and residues so they can be drained away when you change the oil. There’s no need to worry about plugging the oil pick up screen since the residues/deposits won’t break off in large chunks.
