Can I add Sea Foam to every tank of fuel in a Honda Goldwing? [SOLVED]
How will regularly using Sea Foam effect the fuel mileage of my 2005 Honda GL1800 Goldwing motorcycle? Will long-term use harm it’s engine? Should I instead use Sea Foam every other tank full or spread it out even further?
Thanks for the question, Steve!
Sea Foam in your fuel can actually help recover lost fuel efficiency, or keep your Goldwing running as efficiently as possible.
Sea Foam Motor Treatment is safe to use in every tank of fuel. It doesn’t have any harsh chemicals, and it’s made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients that can’t harm parts or components.
Adding Sea Foam to your fuel tank regularly will keep the fuel system and critical engine areas clean, which will help recover lost fuel efficiency or prevent it from dropping.
If you’re riding it regularly during the season, you could add Sea Foam to every other tank of fuel. If it sits for while, add Sea Foam to every tank of fuel to prevent the fuel from degrading and forming varnish and deposits. If you store it for the winter, be sure to add some Sea Foam to the fuel tank before your last ride of the season.
Let me know if you have any other questions – happy to help!
