You bet Jason, you can add Trans Tune to manual transmission fluid. If using as a pre-flush cleaner, be sure to drive at least 50 to 100 miles before replacing the fluid.

Hi Mike. You can leave Trans Tune in power steering fluid for the remaining life of the fluid. No need to change until new fluid is needed!

Does the Trans Tune help clean synchronizers in the nv5600 transmission? And I can just leave it in till the next service, correct?

Yes, Sea Foam products will help clean the synchronizer’s along with the rest of the internal components of the NV5600. The NV5600, primarily used by Dodge, uses either 5w30 motor oil, manual trans fluid (Mopar part # 4874464), or 75w90 gear lube. I would suggest using Sea Foam Motor Treatment or High Mileage instead of Trans Tune (though Trans Tune would work if you already have it). Use 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil in transmission. And yes, you can leave it in there until the next service.
