Can I use a full can of Sea Foam to clean my snowblower? [SOLVED]
Can I use a full can of Sea Foam to clean my snowblower?
Thanks for the question! You’re on the right track by thinking about using a high concentration to clean your snowblower. You could effectively clean the fuel system with less than a full can, though, if you use a smaller amount of fuel.
For the strongest cleaning power in a small carbureted engine like that, use a 1:2 ratio of Sea Foam to fuel. (8 oz of Sea Foam in 16 ounces of fuel would work great). If your snowblower is running rough or has a problem you’re trying to fix, let it soak overnight and then run it again in the morning for a few minutes. Then, add 1-2 ounces of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel when you fill up again. If you add it to every tank, Sea Foam will keep the carb clean as it runs, as well as stabilize the fuel and help prevent gum and varnish buildup.
