Can Sea Foam Motor Treatment clean the catalytic converter on my BMW 325I? [SOLVED]
Howdy!
I had the catalytic converter replaced on my mother’s 1995 BMW 325i with a 2.5L engine two years ago because it couldn’t pass the smog emission limit in California. Here we are again, and the car can’t pass the smog check. Will Sea Foam Motor Treatment help clean a catalytic converter?… Please say yes!
Sorry Mark. No, Sea Foam won’t help to clean a catalytic converter. However, don’t be so sure that the catalytic converter is causing the higher emission. You can treat the engine with the combination of Sea Foam in fuel and Sea Foam Spray through the intake to clean the upper engine. Cleaning the fuel injectors, intake valves, and upper chamber areas will help the engine burn more efficiently… A cleaner upper engine produces less exhaust emission.
