Cleaning diesel fuel injectors with Sea Foam Motor Treatment in a 2018 Ford F350 6.7 turbo [SOLVED]

Can you add Sea Foam Motor Treatment to diesel fuel to clean injectors? I have a 2018 Ford F350 6.7 turbo diesel engine. How much would I add to a 30 gallon fuel tank?

Hi Rich,

Yes, you can use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in diesel fuel to clean injectors!

What I’d do: Add a full can or two of Sea Foam to a low tank of fuel (1/8 tank or less). That might get you to about 4 oz Sea Foam per gallon. Then, drive at least 20 miles to let the Sea Foam work through the system before adding fresh fuel.

Sea Foam is made from 100% petroleum ingredients and can’t harm your engine, so no need to worry about damaging your engine. The high concentration is completely safe and works great to clean the injectors.
