Do I need to add Sea Foam again after storage? [SOLVED]
If I add Sea Foam Motor Treatment to my gas can as directed for stabilization, do I need to add it again as directed when pouring the gas into my snowblower for fuel system maintenance?
Good question, John. You don’t need to add it again. The Sea Foam in the fuel will clean the entire fuel system as it runs through the snowblower.
Once in a while, though, it’s helpful to add a cleaning dose of Sea Foam. Add a high volume of Sea Foam (8 oz per gallon) to a low amount of fuel (1 gallon or less). Then, run that fuel until almost empty. Using a high concentration like that is a great way to clean an engine.
If you use Sea Foam in every tank of fuel (or in all your stored fuel), it will do a good job keeping things clean. Sounds like you’re on the right track.
