Does Sea Foam interfere with sensors? [SOLVED]

My mechanic says I should not use Sea Foam in a new car because it could damage the sensors or give false readings to the engine control module. What say you?

Hey Perry – thanks for the question!

We get asked about sensors and new vehicles a lot. Sea Foam is made from 100% safe petroleum ingredients that can’t harm sensors. Additionally, it won’t interfere with readings, so if you want to add it in a new vehicle, go ahead and use it without worry.
