How long to drive with High Mileage in the fuel tank? [SOLVED]
Asked by Aaron W. In Texas
I have a 2015 Ford F-150 3.5L V6 Turbo with Ecoboost. How long do I drive the truck, or run the engine after adding Sea Foam HIGH MILEAGE to the fuel tank? Thanks!
There’s no magic number, but to get the most out of a can of High Mileage, drive until the tank is almost empty before refueling. That way you maximize the amount of treated fuel you’ve run through your engine.
A good way to do this efficiently is to add a full can of High Mileage to a low tank of fuel (1/8 of a tank or so), and drive at least 20 miles. The high concentration works very well to clean!
Hope that helps!
