How much Sea Foam in a 2007 Yamaha Fz6 inline 4 cycle 600cc motorcycle if it’s been sitting for two years? [SOLVED]

2007 Yamaha FZ6 inline 4cyl 600cc motorcycle. Gas sitting in it from fall 2024 til now. Should I use both engine treatment and IC5 injector cleaner? I read you can use both in the same tank in full size cars, what about motorcycles? I read 2oz/US gallon for cleaning: if I use both in the same tank, is that 2oz of each, or 1oz of each?

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the question! I’d recommend just picking up a can of High Mileage and adding that to the gas tank. High Mileage will clean fuel injectors, as well as the entire fuel system. It’s a strong cleaner and will work great to clean up any fuel varnish or gum that formed while it was in storage.

Add a full 16 oz can to 1-2 gallons of fuel, and run it until it’s almost empty to get all the treated fuel through the system. Then you can refill it with fresh fuel.
