How much Sea Foam in gas, in oil? [SOLVED]
1 Answers
I was told to put half a can of Sea Foam in my vehicle’s oil and the other half in gas tank. Should I do this or will it harm it?

Hi Julia. That appears to be decent advice. Because we don’t know your vehicle’s specs, here are some rules of thumb. In oil: For every quart of oil in your engine crankcase, add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart. Most vehicles have a 5 or 6-quart capacity, so can add 5 ounces to eyeball half a can into your oil. In fuel: I recommend adding a full can when the tank is low to max the cleaning concentration. If you have half a can can add to fuel or wait until the next oil interval to add to oil. Hope this helps!
