How much Sea Foam should be used in John Deere lawn mower? [SOLVED]
How much Sea Foam should be used in John Deere lawn mower?
Thanks for the question, Dave! For routine/preventative maintenance in a John Deere lawn mower, add 1 to 2 ounces of Sea Foam Motor Treatment per gallon of fuel. This will help clean the fuel system and prevent fuel from breaking down.
For occasional cleaning (once a year), use a higher concentration by adding a half can (4 ounces) to a small amount of fuel, like a half-gallon. Run the engine until the treated fuel is used up. This helps clean stubborn fuel residues and varnish.
If you have more questions, let me know! Happy to help.
Hi Mark,
If your chainsaw won’t start, I’d check out this page on how to fix a gummed-up carburetor. That’s very often the problem when a small engine like a chainsaw won’t start. Let me know how it goes!
