How much Sea Foam to help pass a smog test? [SOLVED]
How much Sea Foam Motor Treatment should I add to gasoline in my 1984 Ford Econoline 150 van to help with passing a smog test ?
Thanks for the question, Cornelia.
First, check out this page that shows our recommendation for treating your vehicle before taking the test.

To answer your question, add two cans of High Mileage (or Motor Treatment) to a low tank of fuel (1/4 tank or less). Then, drive at least 20 miles before refueling. Be sure to do this at least a couple of days before taking your vehicle in for an emissions test.
There are many reasons a vehicle won’t pass a smog test, so we can’t guarantee that Sea Foam in the gas will make it pass. Many people have used it with good results, though. Either way, adding some to the fuel will help your engine run better and cleaner.
Good luck on the test!
