Is it okay to use Sea Foam in the oil of a new Mazda CX-5? [SOLVED]
I just bought a brand new Mazda CX-5, is it ok to use seafoam with engine oil before next oil change? I am a little hesitant as the car is brand new but at the same time I want my car to last longer. So my thought process was to use Sea Foam from the beginning (brand new) of the car’s life.
Thanks for the question! Yes, you can use Sea Foam in the oil of a new Mazda. It’s made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients, and it can’t harm engine parts or components. It will certainly work to keep it clean and prevent oil residues and deposits. Add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil. You can add it at any time, but we recommend adding it 100-300 miles before you change your oil. That will give it plenty of time to circulate and clean before you change it. If you add Sea Foam before every oil change, you’ll keep the oil system very clean.
