Sea Foam and storage temperature [SOLVED]
3 Answers
I had a can of Sea Foam in my trunk over the winter. We had some really cold and freezing temperatures. Once things warmed up, around 60 degrees, I went to put some in, but the outside of the can was wet. The can had been upright, lid still on and sealed. Is it safe for me to use? It has been over a month since the cold freeze. (I have a 2003 Cadillac DeVille)

Hi Lauren. Cold temps won’t alter the fluid or the can. Temps over 100F will cause the fluid to expand and possibly leak from the cap seal. Based on your description, you might just have a mild seal leak. No worries, anyway. Thanks for the question!
