What is the difference between Sea Foam Motor Treatment and Trans Tune?[SOLVED]
I noticed that the SDS for Sea Foam’s Trans Tune and Motor Treatment products are identical. Just wondering if these are actually the same product? Can I use them interchangeably?
Great question Kyle. SDS forms are intended for occupational safety, often misunderstood, and too easily generalized, particularly when petroleum ingredients can range in degree of refinement and quality. For example, both motor oil and diesel fuel come from the same raw material, but are not the same thing and cannot be used interchangeably. Though most Sea Foam products share the same base petroleum ingredients, the ratios, refinements and formulations are not the same. We recommend using Sea Foam for adding to fuel and oil systems. Use Trans Tune for transmissions, hydraulics, and power steering fluid systems. However, if accidentally mistaken for the other, no cause for concern (safe).
