Hi Christopher. The quick answer is to simply drive and operate the vehicle as normal. When added to your fuel tank or oil crankcase, Sea Foam mixes evenly in the fuel and oil, then will continue to work until the fuel is used up or the oil is drained. In oil, we recommend driving at least 100 to 300 miles before changing the oil. Hope this helps!

I have 1989 Porscge 911 already put away for winter. Can I simply add Seafoam and let car idle 5-10 minutes or must I take it out of storage, drive it and then put it away a secind time?
Hi David – good question! You are probably already thinking this way, but the idea is to make sure the treated fuel gets through the entire system. Untreated fuel can break down and cause gum and varnish. It’s probably best to drive it to really make sure the Sea Foam mix gets through the system. Whatever you think will be sufficient in your Porsche. Either way, the Sea Foam would stabilize the tank fuel through the storage period, and then clean out any gum/varnish that formed over winter when you run it in the spring.
