Yes, you can add Sea Foam Motor Treatment to your gas tank. That’s the most common way that people use it.
Here’s what I’d do to get the most cleaning power:
- Wait until the tank is low (about 1/4 tank or less)
- Add the full 16 oz can
- Drive at least 10–20 miles (or until nearly empty) before refueling
The higher concentration works much better and faster to clean fuel residues and deposits.
You can also use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the oil. Add 1 ounce per quart of oil in the crankcase 100–300 miles before your next oil change.
