Sea Foam Motor Treatment, when added to fuel, will clean, lubricate and protect the fuel pump. Sea Foam Motor Treatment will not clean a fuel filter. A fuel filter is a particulate filter and is designed to get dirty just like an air filter, and those style filters have a service life and need to be replaced according to manufacturer recommendations.
