Will Sea Foam Motor Treatment cause problems with catalytic converters on a 2019 Ford Edge 2.0 turbo and a 2020 Lexus ES350? [SOLVED]
I have a 2019 Ford Edge 2.0 turbo and a 2020 Lexus ES350. Will Sea Foam Motor Treatment cause any problems with the fuel systems or the catalytic converters?
Thanks for the question! Sea Foam Motor Treatment won’t cause any problems with the fuel systems or catalytic converters. It’s made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients that can’t harm parts or components. Sea Foam does a great job cleaning fuel residues and deposits from the entire fuel system.
For the best cleaning results, I like to wait until I have a low tank of fuel (about 1/8 of a tank). Then, add a full 16oz can of Sea Foam to the gas tank. Drive it until it is almost empty before refueling. The high concentration works very well to clean up the fuel system.
