Good question.
If you suspect a very small amount of water in the tank, Sea Foam can help. Isopropyl alcohol, available at any auto parts store, is a better product for getting rid of small amounts of water in the fuel tank because it helps solubilize small amounts of water into the gasoline so it can be burned through the engine. However, no fuel additive has the ability to remove water from fuel. If you have significant water contamination, the best solution is to remove the fuel and start with fresh fuel.
