SUMMARY
Sea Foam Spray is a blend of cleaning and lubricating petroleum ingredients that can be used SAFELY in all types of 2 and 4 stroke gasoline engines. Especially important for modern GDI engines, it cleans critical upper engine areas where fuel cleaners can’t reach.
Apply Sea Foam Spray through fuel injection throttle bodies to clean harmful engine deposits from intake valves and combustion chamber areas. Use Sea Foam Spray to fog engines and coat spark plug cavities to protect your engine during storage.
Sea Foam Spray does NOT contain harsh detergent or abrasive chemicals that can harm your engine or fuel system components. Help your engine run cleaner and last longer!

RELATED QUESTIONS
Can you run Sea Foam through a vacuum port?
Thanks for the question, Ron! We do not recommend running Sea Foam Motor Treatment through a vacuum line due to the risk of hydrolocking the engine.
Instead, use Sea Foam Spray through the air intake. It’s easier, safer, and it disburses evenly to all cylinders.
Is Sea Foam and Sea Foam Spray safe in turbo charged gas engines?
Thanks for the question! Yes, any Sea Foam product that’s labeled for a gasoline engine is also safe for a turbo.
Sea Foam Spray is safe and effective in a turbo. We get asked about that a lot! Here’s a video with step by step instructions.

Can Deep Creep be used for carbon cleaning an engine?
Can I use the Sea Foam Spray in my gas tank?
Thanks for the question!
First, you can use Sea Foam Spray in your gas tank. It will act similarly to pouring Sea Foam in your gas tank and won’t hurt anything.
I’d apply the Sea Foam Spray through your air intake, though, as that is a much more cost effective way to use it. It will clean intake valve areas that a fuel additive in the gas tank can’t reach.
If you’d still like to use it in the gas tank, it’s safe and will work similarly to Sea Foam Motor Treatment.
I have a 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. It runs high at times. Is it best not to spray a carburetor cleaner in it vs using sea foam in the tank?
Thanks for the question, Donald. My recommendation would be to use Sea Foam Spray through the carb and Sea Foam Motor Treatment or High Mileage in the fuel tank. If the engine still has a tendency to idle high sometimes, I’d recommend having a mechanic look at the carb. It would be a simple choke adjustment.
