By adding a can of Sea Foam to my engine oil or my gas, what will I do for my 2021 Chevy Malibu RS? [SOLVED]

Thanks for the question, Rodney. The biggest thing that Sea Foam will do for your Malibu is clean residues and deposits (which form over time in any engine) from your fuel and oil systems. Those residues and deposits often cause common engine problems like loss of fuel efficiency, loss of power, rough idle, and oil burning. The most important thing Sea Foam does is liquefy and clean away those residues so the engine can continue to run its best, or overcome problems caused by a dirty fuel or oil system. It’s a cost-effective and easy form of preventative maintenance.

Here’s what I’d do to get the most cleaning power when adding Sea Foam to the gas tank:

• Wait until the tank is low (about 1/4 tank or less)
• Add a full 16 oz can of Sea Foam
• Drive at least 10-20 miles (or until nearly empty) before refueling

The high concentration works much better and faster than adding it to a full tank.

You can also add Sea Foam to the oil. Add 1 ounce per quart of oil in the crankcase 100-300 miles before your next oil change. Sea Foam will reliquefy heavier oil residues and deposits so they can drain away with the old oil.
