Can I leave Sea Foam in oil for 300 miles [SOLVED]

If I put Sea Foam Motor Treatment in my crankcase but don’t change the oil until past the 300 mile mark, will it be okay?

Yes – you can leave Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the oil for longer than 300 miles. Sea Foam Motor Treatment is safe to leave in there for the life of the oil.

In oil, Sea Foam works to reliquefy residues and deposits. While you can add it at any time, we recommend around 100-300 miles before your next oil change for two reasons: 1). so the Sea Foam has time to clean, and 2). so the reliquefied residues/deposits can be drained away with the old oil.
