Can you mix Sea Foam Motor Treatment and IC5 Fuel Injector? [SOLVED]

Can I mix Sea Foam fuel injector cleaner in my gas tank with motor treatment? Is the injector cleaner the same thing as motor treatment in a concentrated bottle?

Hey Jay. Two answers: One, Sea Foam Motor Treatment and IC5 Fuel Injector Cleaner are not the same thing. They do not have the same ingredients and they work differently. IC5 is specially formulated to clean and lubricate fuel injectors, while Sea Foam Motor Treatment is more multi-purpose for all types of engines as a total fuel system cleaner and lubricant, plus works to stabilize stored fuel. Answer number two is yes, you can safely mix IC5 in fuel with Sea Foam Motor Treatment. The combination will add an extra punch when cleaning injectors!

Does it have to be a specific type of fuel injector or can it be any let say Chevron with tech Ron mic with seafoam

Hi Jonny – Sea Foam Motor Treatment is safe to mix with any other fuel additive (it’s made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients that won’t cause problems when mixed with others).
