If you’re looking to clean the fuel system, I’d recommend using a high concentration of Sea Foam Motor Treatment.

Here’s what I’d do:

• Wait until the fuel tank is low (about 1/4 tank or less)
• Add a full 16 oz can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment
• Drive at least 10–20 miles (or until nearly empty) before refueling

The higher concentration works much better and faster to clean fuel residues and deposits than adding the same amount to a full tank.

Once the engine is running well, you can switch to a maintenance dosage of 2 oz per gallon of fuel to help keep the fuel system clean and prevent gum and varnish from forming.
