I have a 2017 Nissan Titan XD with a Cummings Turbo Diesel 5.0 motor. How many ounces of seafoam and how often do I add it to my oil? And do I need to wait until I change my oil and oil filter?

You can use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in the oil of your 2017 Nissan Titan XD 5.0L Cummins diesel.

Add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil in the crankcase. We recommend adding it 100–300 miles before your next oil change. That gives the Sea Foam enough time to circulate and clean, and it allows the reliquefied oil residues and deposits to be drained away with the old oil.

You don’t need to wait until after an oil change. It’s best to add it before your next scheduled oil change, not immediately after one. After you add it, wait to change your oil until you’ve driven 100-300 miles.

I’d recommend using it once each oil change interval. Do not exceed one treatment per oil interval. And be sure not to exceed 1 ounce per quart of oil.
