How soon should I add Sea Foam to my gas again? [SOLVED]
Asked by Jeff D. In Alabama
Hello,
I have a Ford F-250 6.0 Powerstroke.
After the initial cleaning dosage period (both the hot soak and adding to the gas tank) when would be the next time I add Sea Foam to my gas tank. Can/Should I add on my next fill up or just wait until I reach the 2000/5000 mile period.
We recommend adding Sea Foam Motor Treatment to fuel every 3,000 miles. It’s completely safe to add it sooner, though. Some people prefer to add it to every tank of fuel (1 oz per gallon) as preventative maintenance.
For the intake treatment with Sea Foam Spray (which involves a hot soak), we recommend applying it every 7,000 miles.
