Hi Mike,

The ratio of Sea Foam to fuel will be the same for both your RV and generator. For preventative maintenance, add 1 oz of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel. For cleaning, add 2 or more ounces per gallon of fuel.

What I’d recommend for cleaning your RV’s tank: Wait until you have a low tank of fuel (1/8 tank or less). Then, add 4-8 oz of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel. That concentration is completely safe and is a great way to clean your entire fuel system. Drive at least 20 miles if possible before adding fresh fuel.

What I’d recommend for cleaning the generator: Here’s a great how-to instructional for cleaning your generator

Hope this helps!
