How to add Sea Foam Trans Tune to a Honda Pilot [SOLVED]
How do I add Trans Tune to the transmission? I have a 2006 Honda Pilot.
Hi Ronald! Trans Tune can be safely and effectively used in all conventional and synthetic petroleum and mineral-based automatic transmission fluids.
With the transmission at operating temperature, check the fluid level to make sure the fluid volume does not exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation.
Add one can (16 oz) of Trans Tune to the transmission filler. When adding it before a transmission fluid change, drive at least 30 miles to circulate the Trans Tune and clean the transmission before replacing the transmission fluid.
When used as a cleaner or conditioner, add Trans Tune for the life of the fluid interval. Trans Tune is compatible with all fluid flushing machines.
DO NOT USE in silicone-based fluids.
Adding Trans Tune to the transmission fluid will help control moisture, lubricate, and dissolve sticky gum and varnish that causes erratic shifting. Trans Tune only contains petroleum-based ingredients and CANNOT HARM your fluid systems!
You bet Ronald. Yes, can be used in any petroleum ATF.
