Sea Foam in 2008 Yamaha V-Star 650 wet clutch [SOLVED]

I have a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 650. I’m wanting to add Sea Foam to the oil, but I’m not sure how Sea Foam will work with my motorcycle having a multi-plate wet clutch. Even changing the oil to a different weight will cause the clutch to slip.

Thanks for the question, Nathan. Sea Foam is safe and effective in a wet clutch, and lots of people use it for that application. It won’t alter the viscosity of oil. Add 1 ounce of Sea Foam per quart of oil. Hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
