Hey Geoffrey – thanks for the question!

Sea Foam is safe and effective in a 2013 Prius. If you add it to fuel, it will work to clean harmful fuel residues and deposits in the engine, helping it run cleaner and smoother.

Sea Foam High Mileage would be another great option. It’s formulated for vehicles with more than 75,000 miles to clean some of the more stubborn deposits in older vehicles.

One of the best ways to use either one is to add a full can to a low tank of fuel (2-4 gallons). Drive at least 20 miles or so before adding fresh fuel. That way the high concentration of Sea Foam has a chance to work through the fuel system. It’s a great way to make the most of a can! Sea Foam is made with 100% safe petroleum cleaning and lubricating ingredients, so it can’t harm an engine or components.

Hope that helps!
