Should I treat old boat fuel or start with fresh fuel and Marine PRO [SOLVED]
Asked by Chris N. In Florida
I have about 50 gallons of non-ethanol gas that was stored for several months with no treatment. Can I treat it now with a Sea Foam treatment, or is it better to start from scratch with fresh gas in the boat and start using Sea Foam Marine PRO? (Current gas is yellowish with deposits).
Since the fuel has turned yellow with deposits, it’s better to start from scratch with fresh fuel in the boat. For the first tank, add a full can of Marine PRO to a low tank of fuel. After that, add 1 ounce of Marine PRO per gallon of fuel.
