Using Sea Foam Spray to clean 1994 GMC Sierra intake valves [SOLVED]
Asked by Tim S. In Alabama
I own a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500, 5.7 liter V8 with TBI.
I’ve watched the Sea Foam Spray videos, but none of them quite match this truck. It has the vintage style dinner plate air cleaner with the ring-type filter element, so I was wondering what’s the best way to get the straw in close enough to the throttle body in order be effective?
In terms of where to place the nozzle, find the throttle valve and point the straw in front the opening that turns toward the inside throttle body. As far as using Sea Foam Spray is applied, your TBI is really no different than a modern fuel-injection intake.
