Using Sea Foam Spray to fix a dead cylinder on a Ford Ranger [SOLVED]

2001 Ford Ranger 4.0. NOW that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I don’t have a question but what I DO have is an OMG thank you! Long story short, my company bought this Ranger from an employee and I drove it from Northern Va. to almost Miami to deliver it. It ran like complete crap! Fast forward one year, I went back to pick it up and it was sitting in the SAME spot where I dropped it off and guess what? It STILL ran like crap. I drove it 1,303 miles back home and it was diagnosed as having a dead cylinder. No mechanic wanted to touch it, but the company wanted it fixed. This morning, I bought some Sea Foam (in the big can… whatever it’s called) and some throttle body spray (also Sea Foam.) I just spent about an hour and this thing is purring like a kitten now. UN FREAKIN REAL. This thing has 171,000 miles on it and has been severely neglected and by all rights SHOULD be in a junk yard. Sea Foam not only made the cylinder fire right again, but it smoothed out and sounds like it has many years left on it. Again, thank you!
