Thanks for the question, Kenneth. No, Sea Foam Motor Treatment will not restore the fuel. Once gasoline is degraded, a fuel additive isn’t able to bring it back.

Here are a few ideas:

  • Sea Foam is great for generators, especially if they’ve been run with old fuel. Add 2 ounces of Sea Foam per gallon of fuel. Once in a while, add 8 oz of Sea Foam to half a gallon of fuel and run it through to give it a good cleaning. The Sea Foam will clean out residues and buildup in the fuel system and carb passageways.
  • Sea Foam is great to add to fresh gasoline that will be stored for a while. Add at least 1 ounce per gallon of fuel.
  • You can gradually use up the old fuel in a car or truck if you mix it with fresh gasoline.

Hope that helps!
